Considering how the 2012 show is still four months away, MGC In-Depth will focus much of its content in the next few weeks on the past shows, especially on 2011’s tenth anniversary show. While we would love to announce a dozen speakers and hundreds of events for 2012 now, simply put a lot of that stuff still needs to be ironed out. We will certainly work on content that expands on the announcements from the Midwest Gaming Classic’s main site in the coming months, but those stories won’t ramp up for some time yet.
This gives us a chance to catch up on the past shows since there admittedly isn’t a whole lot of first-hand information out there on the ‘net for the MGC. The MGC’s main page deletes all of the previous year’s announcements shortly after the show, the MGC’s Wikipedia page hasn’t been updated for some time, and the trail of breadcrumbs that the show’s organizers leave across multiple media outlets can become a real hassle to track down.
MGC In-Depth will likely begin with a chronological look at the last ten years starting with Jagfest 2K1, though if there is something specifically that you’re interested in – or better yet something that you yourself would like to write about for the site – feel free to contact us by clicking on this link or clicking on the link at the bottom of every page!
