"There are plenty of gaming expos all around the country. Sadly, these mainly tend to stay on the coasts, denying centrally located gamers from getting together. For ten years, the Midwest Gaming Classic has been the only expo of its size and type in the central “flyover states”. 2011 was a rousing year for the expo, and it brought gamers from all around the world to Milwaukee for one weekend in late March."

"This is now the seventh Midwest Gaming Classic recap I've posted. I'll keep doing them as long as the show keeps going. The vendors and exhibits don't change that much from year to year though so this will look a lot like my previous recaps. They had some amazing speakers this year that I didn't photograph because I feel weird taking pictures of strangers. I guess that's why I couldn't hold that paparazzi job I had one summer in college. So as usual my photos are limited to inanimate objects."

"With technology changing so fast that some gadgets almost seem obsolete before they're out of the box, relics of “outdated” technology still draw enthusiastic crowds.
Thousands of video gamers reveled in the new and old at the Midwest Gaming Classic this weekend at the Sheraton Milwaukee Brookfield Hotel in Brookfield."
2011: Arcade Heroes
"About a month ago, gamers descended upon the Milwaukee Brookfield Hotel in Brookfield, WI for an annual event where arcade and pinball gaming is a prominent part of the event. That event was the Midwest Gaming Classic and you can see quite a bit of it in the video below, created by OnTheStick.com. They had some awesome games there, a few of which you don’t see too often(especially when it comes to pinball). There even is a quick glance at the fighter Dark Presence..."
