One of the increasingly challenging things about finding specific information about the MGC is that as the show increases in age so too does the amount of content written about it. Often times this means we’re blown away by incredible content written by a number of talented authors, but unfortunately that content may be buried under several pages of search engine results that list even the most passing reference to the Midwest Gaming Classic.
The MGC In-Depth Across the ‘Net section lists much of the great content that we have found over the years split up into three different sections:
Blogs & Online Media: Simply put, we have been blown away by some of the kind words and great articles that have been written about the MGC over the years. This section contains an increasing number of those articles. Unfortunately, though, due to the ever-changing (and sometimes rather explicit) nature of forums, we generally cannot link to individual threads or posts.
Podcasts: Podcasters are one of the most prevalent and impressive forms of media at the Midwest Gaming Classic. In fact, one of the largest rooms at the show as of late has been dedicated to the Retroids podcast network and their affiliates. Here you will find a collection of podcasts both about the Midwest Gaming Classic and even recorded at the show.
TV, Print & Radio: The Midwest Gaming Classic has been fortunate enough to be covered by three of the most popular forms of media over the last several years. This section includes some of the online versions of the print articles as well as some of the radio chats and advertisements. We’re also actively hunting for more online versions of the TV from the show… Something we have found increasingly difficult since television content often doesn’t stay online for long and you could say we’re just a little bit busy with the show to try and record the programs at home! If you have video recordings from some of the TV covering the MGC, please, let us know!
